Ranveer Singh to be part of Don 3? Internet say "No SRK No Don"

Will Farhan Akhtar make Don 3? Is there Don 3 in the making? When will you make Don 3? It seems like Farhan Akhtar has put all the speculations to rest around the third film in the Don franchise. The filmmaker has announced Don 3. He shared a teaser announcing the film on social media. The announcement video featured the words, “A new era begins”.

 

 

A red beam of light gradually forms the number ‘3’ with modified background music of SRK led previous installments. ‘A new era begins’ is the tagline on the video that has left Shah Rukh Khan’s fans worried about his return to the franchise.

 

There have been multiple reports floating around the third part of the Don franchise. But as most know, SRK has his hands full with Jawan and then Dunki. It looks like Farhan isn’t willing to wait any further and may have moved ahead without the superstar.

 

While Akhtar refrained from revealing the cast of the much-anticipated film, reports suggest that Ranveer Singh will be replacing Shah Rukh Khan as Don in the new film. However, the film’s team has not confirmed the news.

'Don' starred Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Boman Irani in prominent roles. The film was released in 2006 and won Best Asian Film at the Neuchatel International Fantastic Film Festival. Later, it’s sequel was released in 2011 and was declared a hit.

 

Actor Hrithik Roshan was seen in a special appearance role in ‘Don 2’.

 

Farhan's directorial was a remake of 1978's 'Don', featuring Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role.
