Ellyse Perry’s 66 helped the Bengaluru franchise to post a total of 135 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs after opting to bat first at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi and then successfully manage to defend it.

For RCB, 33-year-old Asha Sobhana bowled the final over of the run chase, in which MI needed 12 runs to win. But she only conceded six runs to help her side get the better of the defending champions for the second match in a row and qualify for the final. In the final, RCB will face Meg Lanning's Delhi Capitals on Sunday (March 17).

After winning the eliminator match of WPL 2024, Sobhana came up with a cold celebration, which reminded people of Suryakumar Yadav’s celebration after he guided the Mumbai Indians to a famous win over Virat Kohli’s RCB in the IPL 2020 match.
