"It's money baby!": Rihanna performs at Ambani’s pre-wedding in Jamnagar after supporting Khalistani propaganda during 2021 farmers' protest
Rihanna, known primarily for her touring performances rather than private engagements, demanded an extraordinary fee for her appearance at the pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.

Her performance included a medley of her hits along with solo renditions such as ‘Diamonds’. Much of the expenses for her performance are said to have gone towards transporting her stage equipment and providing multiple outfit changes for both herself and her background singers.

During the farmers' protests in 2021, Rihanna on 2nd February had tweeted expressing her solidarity with a bunch of protestors, who had unleashed riots on the streets of Delhi. "why aren’t we talking about this?", she tweeted sharing news about it.

At that time, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) condemned the unnecessary interference of foreign individuals in the country’s internal affairs. It also urged asked these foreign individuals and entities to ascertain facts and undertake a proper understanding of the farmers’ protest before rushing to comment on it.

Now, several netizens have mocked the pop singer for performing at the Anant-Radhika wedding instead of going to the farmers protest site.
