1. Fayaz stabbed 24-year-old Neha Hiremath in the neck multiple times with the knife, which was caught on CCTV camera for rejecting his proposal. Though the accused's family has denied the love jihad angle, Neha’s family has been clear from the beginning that it is a case of love jihad and Neha was systematically targeted by Fayaz.

2. In June 2023, a minor Hindu girl who was missing for 4 years was rescued in Manchar, Maharashtra. She was abducted, drugged and raped by Javed Sheikh. A video of her being scared and traumatised when her parents came to rescue her from Sheikh's house had gone viral on social media.

3. A 26-year-old Hindu girl from the Ambejogai region of Beed district was trapped in a love affair, raped, assaulted, drugged and then forced to marry the accused identified as Amir Tamboli from the Pune district. The girl was also brainwashed and forced to accept Islam. Derogatory videos were made in which she is seen nude and were recorded by Tamboli after feeding her medicines.

4. In Maharashtra's Aurangabad district, a minor girl was repeatedly raped by her mother’s boyfriend Ashpak Sheikh for the last three years by drugging her. The 15-year-old victim, whose mother is also a ‘love jihad’ victim has been missing for the past three years. He often used to show her pornographic films on his mobile and forced her to dance naked multiple times.

5. In Maharashtra's Ahmednagar, a minor girl was love-trapped and forced to convert to Islam by 8 individuals including her tuition teacher Heena Sheikh. When the victim joined tuition classes, Heena allowed Muslim boys who had no connection with tuition classes while urging the Hindu girls to befriend them and speak only in Hindi. She had also instructed the girls to adopt Muslim customs, wear burqas, stop wearing bangles and apply kumkum as ‘tilak’ on their foreheads.

6. In Dhule, Faiz Syed had abducted a minor girl from the Sikh community for 15 days. The family members of the victim had said in the complaint lodged with the police that she was last seen with a boy named Faiz Syed.

7. Sadan Khan from Pune, Maharashtra, was accused of befriending a Hindu girl on Instagram by posing as Abhinav. It was said that he made an obscene video of the girl and kept blackmailing her using the video. Sadan Khan resided in the Sangamwadi area near Tadiwala Road in Pune.

8. In Maharashtra's Daund, 200 hundred Hindus are converted every year. Muslim youths receive a monetary reward of Rs 5 lakhs to make Hindu girls convert to Islam. Hindu families residing in Daund claimed that they were scared to react as the people behind the forced conversions beat up and threatened girls.

9. In East Champaran, Bihar Sameer Alam, a married man had lured a minor Hindu girl from the Dalit community. He hid his Muslim identity, kidnapped her when she refused to marry, forced her to convert to Islam and was going to sell her in Nepal. The probe revealed Sameer Alam’s prior involvement in trafficking minor girls from the Dalit community on a regular basis.

10. Seven people including a husband and wife, forced a 28-year-old married Hindu woman to convert to Islam by threatening to reveal her intimate pictures. The accused Rafik raped her in front of his wife and forced her to wear a burqa, he also stopped her from wearing ‘kumkum’ on her forehead.

11. Aditi Bharadwaj of Hyderabad committed suicide after her boyfriend Mohammed Ali forced her to convert to Islam and impregnated her. However, he married another woman belonging to his religion. Aditi Bharadwaj was married but divorced her husband and was going to marry Mohammed Ali but he cheated on her before the wedding and she could not bear this deception and gradually went into depression.

If one studies the cases of Love Jihad, there is a pattern established where Hindu women are targeted by Muslim men, who lure and mislead, forcibly convert to Islam, torture, rape, and then either kill or abandon them. And if Hindu women are not willing to accept them, they kill them or brutally harm them. There are several reasons why such cases take place. One of the significant reasons is Muslims conspire to increase their demographic size within the Indian population by luring Hindu women into a so-called “love marriage” and eventually converting them to Islam. Moreover, Muslim youth receive funds from abroad and within to woo Hindu women and lure them away.
