On Monday, May 18, the Mira Road Police filed an FIR against 5 persons, including Khan, for
assaulting a Hindu couple over a minor road rage incident. The victim, identified as Ajay, stated in the complaint that he and his fiancée were attacked by Muslims and brutally abused and
assaulted over a minor issue that emerged at a local CNG station in
Mumbai's Mira Road area.

According to exclusive information accessed by Newsbharati, the incident took place at the Mahanagar CNG station around 11:30 am on May 18, when the victim’s car was waiting in the queue. During this time, another car driven by the accused allegedly attempted to cut through the long line at the station. The accused then reportedly rolled down the car window and verbally abused the woman sitting inside the victim’s vehicle.

The victim stated that he tried to pacify the situation by allowing the victim's car to go ahead, but the latter continued to abuse. "They were all Muslims. We allowed them to go ahead, but instead they called their other community members, and they all began beating us," the victim stated in the video exclusively obtained by Newsbharati.
The victim, Ajay, also stated that his fiancée was pushed and her clothes were torn, and that she was further abused. "They physically
assaulted her. I held one of the individual's collars, then expressing rage. We then immediately filed a police complaint," Ajay said while talking to the media.
The list of 5 accused also includes one unknown woman and one unknown individual, apart from the identified Hilal, Faijan, and Mohammad. All the 5 accused have been booked under sections 74, 79, 115(2), 352, 189(1), 189(2), 191(2), 190 of the BNS, and sections 37(1), 37(3), 135 of the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951.
