The base camp is situated at 5,364 metres and it took 11 days for her to complete the expedition; During the trek, she walked for 8-9 hours at steep terrain in varying climatic conditions, like lashing of hailstones & snowfall, and in temperatures minus 10 degrees Celsius.

As India gears up to celebrate International Yoga Day on June 21, the entire world extends its support with contributing their bit. In a first, the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu organised a yoga event at the base camp of Mount Everest to celebrate the fifth International Day of Yoga.
