“Women were excelling in every sphere and hence it was vital to recognize their talent and provide them with the right opportunities” said Prime Minister Narendra Modi beginning his much famous and talked about interaction with the women of Self Help Groups in India.
In a major relief to the members of self help group for women in the Deen Dayal Antyodya scheme, the Haryana government has decided that it will bear the loan interest on bank loans taken by these groups. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced that they would repay the bank loans till the income of each member of that group reaches Rs one lakh per annum.
Women empowerment has always seen the light of the day. Many women have come forward and proved their worth of making a change in the stereotype society. So, in order to appreciate the efforts and promote the sale of organic products by women, a festival was organized in the Dilli Haat, New Delhi called as ‘Organic Products by Women’.
