The Ministry of Defence has signed a contract with an Indian firm to upgrade the simulators of the Su-30 MKI fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force. Contracts were exchanged in the presence of Rajnath Singh and Giridhar Aramane.

The launch the Extended Range Version of BrahMos Air Launched missile from Su-30 MKI fighter aircraft was as planned and the missile achieved a direct hit on the designated target in the Bay of Bengal region. It was the first launch of Extended Range Version of BrahMos missile from the Su-30MKI aircraft.
