Stepping towards PM Narendra Modi's vision of a self-reliant India, Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' launched the world’s most affordable RT-PCR based COVID-19 diagnostic kit developed by IIT Delhi. The kit is approved by the ICMR and DCGI in New Delhi.
"The private sector will be allowed to use ISRO's facilities and assets and they will be provided a level-playing field in satellites, launches, and space-based services," Union Minister Jitendra Singh said days after the government announced opening up of the domain.
