BJP releases fifth list for Gujarat elections

Gandhinagar, November 24: The fifth list for the Gujarat Assembly Election of BJP was released on Friday. The List of thirteen people consist the name of Pankaj Desai who has been fielded from Nadiad which is the main belt of the Party and from Unjha the sitting MLA Nayan Patel will contest.

 

BJP on Tuesday released its fourth list of candidates for the forthcoming Gujarat Assembly elections scheduled for December 9 with just one name. With this the party has issued the name of 148 candidates for the 182 member Assembly which will go to elections in two-phases on 9th and 14th of next month.

 

For the first time, VVPAT-fitted EVMs will be used in entire Gujarat state at 50,128 polling stations in the 2017 elections; the entire state will see the implementation of VVPAT. 43.3 million are registered voters in Gujarat as on September 25, 2017.
