Sounding the bugle for LS Polls, BJP, JDU and LJP form a strong united alliance

 

 

New Delhi, December 24: “Leaders of all three parties have finalised the framework of the alliance emphasising over the seats in Lok Sabha. After a lot of discussion we have come to a conclusion that BJP and JDU will be heading elections over the 17 seats each and Lok Janshakti Party will be battling over 6 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar.”, announced the BJP party president Amit Shah yesterday in the national capital in the presence of JD (U) president and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Lok Janshakti Party chief and Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan.

 

JDU President Nitish Kumar said they will work towards ensuring NDA's victory in the 2019 general elections. “It is in year 2009 that there was alliance between BJP and JDU in Bihar. Inspite of the outcomes in the nation at that time, Bihar had acquired 32 of 40 total seats. We will definitely win more number of seats this time following the robust election campaigns.”, he added addressing the conference.

 

 

 

"The LJP and JDU got the benefits of asking PM Modi questions about the demonetisation after 2 years. In spite of having 22 parliamentarians in Bihar, the BJP is only contesting 17 seats and Nitish-ji, who has 2 MPs, will also fight 17 seats. Now you can understand in what condition the NDA is in", tweeted Tejaswi yadav after the announcement by Shah.

 

 

Meanwhile, Ram Vilas Paswan said he was happy with the respectable seat sharing formula and assured that the three parties will work together for NDA's victory. “There was no issue in the alliance. We will fight the elections together. We have reached here long, under the guidance of Narendra Modi. I feel assured of NDA’s victory in the upcoming elections. For Bihar, we should target over all 40 seats, inspite of the fact that being wayward.”, paswan said in relation.

 

 

 

There have been major hectic meetings between the BJP chief, senior party leader Arun Jaitley and Paswan. ‘Paswan had been upset over a Rajya Sabha seat he was promised by the BJP when the 50:50 seat sharing formula was announced in October. His son Chirag Paswan warned the BJP of consequences that if the seat sharing was not finalised, triggering speculation about the LJP too being on its way out of the alliance.’, reported the statement.
