Indian celebs tweet under BJP pressure? How can MH miss farmers proven propaganda?

Freedom of Speech and social media refute these days, don't you too think so? Something somewhere happens and then the social media rushes roaring up, some for and some against. Celebs too raise voice for what they think is right or wrong and then neitizens began the conclusion game! Blue but true. We all see it these days. What is it- the pressure or the truth?

Up in line to the ongoing farmer's protest, where celebs- Sachin Tendulkar, Lata Mangeshkar, Akshay Kumar and more tweeted in support of the farm laws, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has ordered the probe into tweets. In a zoom meeting with Congress leader Sachin Sawant, he said that the intelligence agency would probe into the case and dig the truth out.

newsbharati- celebrity tweeting pressure

Well, what truth is he expecting? Last week, celebs such as Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan, Saina Nehwal, Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar among others rallied around the government using hashtags #IndiaTogether #IndiaAgainstPropoganda after the 'much not needed' tweets by foreign celebrities including Rihanna and climate activist Greta Thunberg in support of the farmers protest went viral.

Following the stir, Congress' Sachin Sawant had demanded a probe to find out whether national celebrities were under pressure from the government. Considering the mirror side, why did not Sawant demand a probe to find out the actual pressure on the international celebrities that was in fact proven open in the public domain in the form of toolkit? Why this bias and this kinda stand against the government?

Today, Sawant met Home Minister Anil Deshmukh and again demanded inquiry into the tweets. The minister further flagrantly added, "There is not even a difference of words. The lines are the same. Even timings are the same. This is a serious matter. Prime Minister Narendra Modi should have spoken to the farmers and have ended the issue".

This clearly shows what politics stirs around with just one single motive- to defame India, the democracy and the ruling BJP government. How did the Congress leaders miss the planning happening within the protest. That how Rihanna and the tiny climate activist who ideally should be seen in the school, tweeted exactly the same note as in the toolkit?

It takes a lot to stand by good and takes nothing to stand by the wrong. The world knows the truth. Why pretend and play? People on Social media are not answerable to anyone, then may it be a celebrity tweeting or any ordinary person. If Rihanna tweeting is 'Freedom of Expression', why can't Tendulkar or Lata ji's tweet be the same. Is India, the state of Maharashtra so frail to hold upon the materiality? Small things to think upon..
