The family lived in Abu Dhabi Colony, Chak No 135-P that is 15 km away from Rahim Yar Khan city. The local police have recovered murder weapons including a knife and an axe in the area of crime. Preliminary information suggests that Ram Chand was a Meghwal Hindu and was 35-36 years old. He was running a tailoring shop for a long time and was a peaceful man, living a happy life. Considering the victims personal details, the incident came as a huge shock to everyone living around his residence or connected to him.

While incidents of abuse and murder of Hindu minorities occur on regular basis in Pakistan, the country quite ironically questions India on international platform as serious as the UNHRC, about an unrealistic claim that India violates human rights in the Indian side of Kashmir. In fact Islamic country went a step ahead and also stated that India is emerging as the largest extremist country where minorities live under constant threat.

There are reports that suggest a statistic report of how Pakistan has absolutely ignored the requirements of the people living in POK and Gilgit Baltistan. The regions are absolutely against the current Imran Khan-led govt. There are protests being held since a considerable time in both the regions as well as in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province mainly by the minorities and tribal population, in order to oppose the authoritarian rule of PM Imran Khan. With all these things happening in the backdrop, the PM Imran Khan-led govt is completely ignoring the atrocities that are taking place in the Pakistani land against Hindus and the incidents continue to rise in number.
