New Delhi, September 07: PM Modi on Tuesday, launched several initiatives under ‘Shikshak Parv’ in the education sector for shaping the future of India.

Addressing the inaugural conclave of Shikshak Parv through video-conference, the PM expressed that these measures will make our education system globally competitive and make our youth ready for the future.
 
 
 
The PM launched the Indian Sign Language Dictionary, Talking Books (audio books for the visually impaired), School Quality Assurance and Assessment Framework for the CBSE, NISHTHA teacher’s training programme for the NIPUN Bharat and Vidyanjali portal for facilitating education volunteers, donors / CSR contributors for school development.

The Ministry of Education is celebrating the Shiksha Parv. The celebration of it started on September 5 and will be continuing till September 17, to recognise and acknowledge the valuable contributions of all the teachers, and also to take New Education Policy (NEP) 2020 a step forward.

The theme of the Shikshak Parv for 2021 is Quality and Sustainable Schools: Learnings from Schools in India.
The National Education Policy also saw participation of several stakeholders.
