A fifty partnership by Devon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad and cameos from Shivam Dube, and Ravindra Jadeja helped Chennai Super Kings (CSK) defeat Gujarat Titans (GT) in a final ball thriller by five wickets at Ahmedabad on Monday to clinch their fifth Indian Premier League (IPL) title.

A rock-solid partnership between Conway-Ruturaj had helped set the foundation for a successful run-chase, but a game-changing spell from Mohit Sharma threatened to take away the win from CSK. However, Dube and Jadeja kept calm to seal a memorable title win for the Men in Yellow.

The match resumed as a 15-over affair after rain interrupted action for a while. CSK was set a new target of 171 runs to win in 15 overs.

Here are the unforgettable moments from the match

This image will go down in cricket history for the emotions it gives us. After hitting those winning runs, he straight ran away to MS Dhoni who is in the dugout. This was emotional for all the cricket fans.

A big thank you to the cameraman who captured these moments of Ravindra Jadeja and his wife. Thanks to him, the pic is going viral on the internet

An underrated moment from the last night's match where Ambati Rayudu breaks down as it was his last match of IPL after announcing retirement on Sunday.

The calm he felt after Jadeja hit those much-needed four runs. I think this was the moment where he must have felt that this is it.

This is one funny moment! It seems like Deepak Chahar wanted an autograph from Dhoni but the latter was not giving him because of some catch he did not take. But of course, Chahar being the Laadla, CSK captain gave in.

Dhoni hints at his retirement!

Just Dhoni stuff. Thanking his fans!

A special mention for Mohit Sharma who almost took the game away from CSK
