A shocking incident has come to light at Bhusawal Railway Station in Maharashtra, where a food vendor, wearing an Islamic skull cap, negligently picked up fallen vada and pav from the floor and served them again to passengers. Meanwhile, the railway administration has taken strict action against the vendor regarding the health of passengers, temporarily shutting down the concerned stall. The vendor has also been taken into railway security custody after being issued a show-cause notice. (Bhusawal vada Pav)

Upon receiving information about the incident, the railway administration reviewed the CCTV footage, in which the concerned vendor was identified picking up fallen vadas. He was subsequently taken into custody and handed over to the Railway Protection Force (RPF) for further action. A decision has been taken to keep the concerned stall closed until the inquiry is complete. Additionally, a show-cause notice has been issued along with a proposal to terminate the concerned licence agreement. Officials stated that if a satisfactory explanation is not provided, the licence could be cancelled. Central Railway administration has given a clear signal that no compromise will be tolerated with passenger health and safety.

As per the local reports, Bhusawal Railway Station sees a large rush of passengers from morning till late at night. In such circumstances, providing clean, safe, and quality food to passengers is considered the primary responsibility of the railway administration. However, the incident of a vendor reusing vadas that had fallen on the floor for resale has raised serious concerns about passenger health.
 
 
 

All authorised food vendors operating in the station premises have been instructed to strictly adhere to cleanliness, quality and licensing conditions. The administration has stated that strict action will be taken against any vendor found violating the rules.
