On July 28, a video began circulating online showing a father and son in a heated confrontation, reportedly triggered by the son making derogatory remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The clip drew a wave of reactions from social media users, sharply divided in opinion; some praised the father's actions as an example of proper parenting, while others condemned the incident as 'child abuse.'

"That's what I am talking about: parents in big cities who pretend to be really modern and caring about kids should understand that being sensitive is not always the right way to deal with the kids. I am a parent too, and have never supported a wrong thing my kids do," one of the users said.
One of the users also stated that it was important to know who fed the boy with such hatred to slam PM Modi and UP CM Yogi Adityanath on camera. "The approach is incorrect. The approach should be to find out who corrupted this young boy to abuse on camera? Was he given money or any other incentive? Unless the root cause is found, these approaches won't help at all," he said.

The earlier Bill had provisions for a minimum of three to five years of imprisonment to curb cheating, and now those involved in organised crimes of cheating will face five to 10 years of imprisonment and a minimum fine of Rs 1 crore.

The authenticity of the video, the village where it belongs, or the timing of the video could not be independently verified by NewsBharati, but the said video attracted eyeballs on July 28-29 on the internet in the wake of the recently ended Cockroach Janata Party protest at Jantar Mantar, Delhi.

Some of the users also called out the father for 'mistreating' his son. "Gaali dene pe maar raha hai aur khud gaali de raha hai (He is scolding his son for abusing and he himself is abusing while scolding)," one of the users said. Meanwhile, another indicated that the father was scared for his son's life, further indicating that the state of Uttar Pradesh lived in fear of CM Yogi Adityanath.
It is interesting to note that the so-called peaceful CJP protest in Delhi ended with the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. However, the country saw the peak of woke behaviour among 'students' unfolding alongside the protest. Several anti-national elements infiltrated the protest and raised Islamist slogans like 'Allah-hu-akbar,' 'Bas naam rahega Allah ka,' etc. Also, the LGBTQ+ community joined in the protest and raised slogans like 'Mera Ling, Meri Marzi'.

Notably, the Union Cabinet has approved a draft bill to ensure stricter punishments for paper leaks. The Centre had brought out a new law in 2024 as well when it was faced with raging paper leak controversies. Nearly four months after President Droupadi Murmu gave assent to The Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, the Bill was notified in June 2024 when tempers were high due to alleged NEET and NET paper leaks.
