The Delhi High Court has ordered the removal of content that unlawfully exploits actor-politician Ravi Kishan's personality rights. Justice Jyoti Singh barred anyone from publishing vulgar or derogatory material that uses Kishan's image or invokes his personal traits, and instructed Google, Meta, and X Corp to pull down links to such content within 72 hours if the original uploaders and domain registrars fail to do so within three days of the July 2 ruling.

The interim order came in response to a suit Kishan filed to safeguard his personality rights and stop the spread of AI-generated obscene and defamatory material about him online. Among the material he pointed to was a radio show on Ishq 104.8 FM titled "What is Love with Kavi Kishan," which he argued misused his name, image, and likeness commercially without his consent. He also noted that IshqFM's official Instagram page carried an AI-generated video mocking him.

As a result, the court issued an injunction against Creative Channel Advertising and Marketing Private Limited (operating as Manoranjan TV Network), which owns Ishq 104.8 FM. The takedown directive also extends to unidentified "John Doe" defendants who may have uploaded infringing content. The case will next be heard on October 15.

Kishan was represented by senior advocates N. Hariharan and Sanjay Upadhaya, along with advocates Neeraj Grover, Krishna Kumar Shukla, Madhav Anand, Pranav Prasoon, Alvin Antony, Mansi Bachani, Kunal Khanna, and Kartik Mitra.
