Hindu organizations raid hotel to catch Fardeen with minor Hindu girl; accused arrested under POCSO

On Tuesday, August 18, the UP Police arrested one identified as Fardeen for trapping a Hindu minor girl in the Sadar Bazaar area of Meerut district. The police also confiscated the phone of the accused and recovered obscene videos of the girl, which were probably being used to blackmail her into forceful physical intimacy.
On Monday, August 18, at around 3 pm, Fardeen called the girl to Ranjit Hotel in Thapar Nagar. Around that time, members of the Hindu organization, including Narsingh Vahini's state president Kartik, Anshul Prajapati, Swapreet, Tarun Kansal, Golu, Prashant, Manoj, and Shivam, raided the hotel and caught Fardeen undressed in the room. He was seen feeding the girl eggs and chicken biryani at the time. Police said he had reportedly been blackmailing and sexually exploiting her for about a year.
Following this, members of the Hindu organization created an uproar, prompting Sadar police to arrive at the scene. The girl's family members were also called in, and Hindu organization member Sachin Sirohi arrived as well. Protesters demanded that the hotel be sealed and its license revoked, questioning on what basis a room was rented out to a Muslim youth with a minor.
After nearly two hours of commotion, police took Fardeen and the girl to Sadar Bazaar police station. Notably, the FIR has been filed based on the complaint filed by the parents of the girl. According to the report, Fardeen had already ensnared several Hindu girls over the past year, and videos of multiple girls were found on his phone; he allegedly filmed them and used the footage to blackmail them. He used Ranjit Hotel as his regular base, where he could get a room without an ID, allegedly because the hotel manager would use someone else's ID for his bookings.
The incident came to the fore when one of the Hindu organizations raided the premises where the accused had taken the girl. Later, the police were informed and arrested the accused under relevant sections of POCSO and BNS.

The Hindu organization stated that the accused would first lure Hindu minor girls into a romantic trap, then make obscene videos of them to blackmail them. Along with the registration of a case against the accused for rape and for making and circulating objectionable videos, the Hindu Sena has also demanded that the hotel where the accused was caught be sealed.
It is believed that Fardeen lured a minor Hindu girl studying in class 10 using social media. About a year ago, he reportedly brought her to Ranjit Hotel, raped her, and filmed the act. He is then said to have continued the physical relationship by threatening to circulate the video on social media. Five days ago, Fardeen uploaded a photo on his Instagram showing himself kissing the girl, along with a comment about her religion. Since then, Hindu organization members had reportedly been keeping watch on him.
