Patel was seated in an executive coach and remained unharmed during the incident.

Glass damaged in C-6 and C-10
The stone-pelting occurred as the train was passing near Utran Railway Station.
The impact of the stones cracked the glass of coaches C-6 and C-10, both standard chair-car coaches.
The incident caused panic among passengers, following which railway officials and security personnel were alerted.
There were no reports of injuries or casualties.
RPF detains suspected youth
Following the incident, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) launched an investigation.
An RPF team from Ankleshwar reached the spot after receiving information about the stone-pelting. A suspicious youth, aged around 30, was detained from near the railway track.
According to the preliminary information, the youth was in an intoxicated state when he was apprehended.
His identity is being established and he is being questioned as part of the investigation.

Probe underway into motive
Authorities are questioning the detained youth to determine the circumstances behind the stone-pelting.
Investigators are examining whether the incident was an act committed while the youth was intoxicated or whether there was any other motive behind it.

Security strengthened along railway track
Following the incident, railway authorities increased patrolling and strengthened security measures along the Surat-Ahmedabad railway track, particularly around the affected stretch.

Western Railway confirms RPF response
Western Railway PRO Anubhav Saxena said information about stone-pelting on the Vande Bharat Express was received after the train departed from Surat and was passing near Utran Railway Station.
The RPF was informed immediately after the information was received.
The inspector from Ankleshwar RPF reached the location and detained a suspicious youth from the area.
Saxena said further interrogation of the detained person was underway.
Train continued towards Ahmedabad
Despite the damage to the glass panes of two coaches, no casualties were reported.
The Vande Bharat Express continued its journey towards Ahmedabad after the incident.
The investigation remains underway, with railway authorities and security personnel examining the circumstances surrounding the stone-pelting and questioning the detained youth.
