Nepal Floods: RSS’ Dattaji Hosabale calls for solidarity, support for victims saying, ‘Come forward to help’

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has expressed concern over the devastating floods that have affected several districts of Nepal, extending condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and expressing solidarity with people affected by the disaster.
In a statement, RSS Sarkaryawah Dattatreya Hosabale ji said the organisation stood with the victims and those injured in the floods and would make every possible effort to provide assistance during the crisis.
“National volunteers and society at large should come forward to provide every possible assistance in this unexpected situation,” the RSS appeal said.

The floods struck Nepal's northern border region on Wednesday (August 26) morning, affecting areas including Rasuwa, Dhading, Nuwakot, Chitwan and East Nawalparasi. The disaster has affected thousands of people, with rescue and relief operations continuing in several areas.
Hosabale ji expressed sympathy for the families of those killed in the disaster as well as for the injured and other people facing the consequences of the floods. He said swayamsevaks are prepared to assist those affected and called upon people to come forward to support relief efforts.
The flooding has caused disruption across affected areas, with homes, roads, bridges and other infrastructure damaged. Several communities have also faced difficulties in accessing essential services as damaged roads and bridges have hampered movement.
