Alert troops immediately detected and tracked the aerial movement. The UAV was subsequently observed manoeuvring towards the Mangalnar-Dabrote axis, following which security forces intensified surveillance across the forward sector.

Following the detection, troops have strengthened both aerial and ground surveillance in the area. Security personnel are conducting searches in adjoining forward locations to check for any possible material dropped by the drone.
Security agencies are particularly keeping watch for the possible dropping of arms, ammunition, narcotics or other contraband through the unmanned aerial platform.

The incident comes amid continued security concerns along the LoC, where drones have increasingly emerged as a potential tool for cross-border smuggling and reconnaissance.
