Bulandshahr , September 5 : A video allegedly showing former MLA and Samajwadi Party leader Guddu Pandit assaulting his wife Archana Panda has gone viral on social media, prompting police action in Bulandshahr.
The viral video, reportedly recorded at the residence of former MLA Guddu, shows him allegedly getting into a physical altercation with his wife, Archana Panda. During the argument, Guddu is seen allegedly pulling Archana by her hair, after which she retaliates with a broom. The altercation continues as Archana runs out of the room, with Guddu reportedly following her.
Outside, Archana is seen shouting and expressing her anger during the heated exchange. Following the incident, she submitted a written complaint to Kotwali Nagar police, based on which an FIR was registered against Guddu.

According to reports, the incident took place in September, while the video surfaced on social media on September 4.Archana, state vice-president of the Congress Mahila Sabha, has lodged a complaint against Guddu over an alleged domestic dispute. Reports suggest that the couple has previously been in the news over disputes between them.
Following her complaint, Bulandshahr police registered a case against Guddu and launched an investigation. Archana has so far not made detailed comments to the media.
Bulandshahr City Circle Officer Prakhar Pandey said a video that surfaced on September 4 was reportedly recorded at the complainant's residence. According to the officer, the footage appears to show Archana's husband assaulting her during a domestic dispute. Police said further legal action is underway.
