Earlier, Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar maintained that Mahadayi basin does not have enough water to share with the neighboring state with existing deficit condition. The Chief Minister pointed that state government had already submitted all the substantial facts about Mahadayi basin.
The Minister slammed Parrikar for misleading the people of Karnataka with his different versions of Mahadayi issue based on media reports. Citing the example of Krishna river delta exercise, Patil expressed that Karnataka will fight for their legitimate share of 7.56 tmc to mitigate the acute water crisis drought-hit regions.
