New Delhi, April 23: While hospitals in Delhi have been facing the most serious shortage of oxygen due to surge in COVID-19 cases, and CM Arvind Kejriwal has been talking about the shortage for the last few days, it has emerged that he never talked to the centre about it before today. After the PM-CM meeting episode that shook the Centre of protocols today, here is a story that shows how AAP' Kejriwal government has failed Delhi.

"The Kejriwal government is in no way taking cognizance of our RTI seeking financial details about state's expenditure on ICUs, oxygen", says Advocate Himanshu Ranade from Thane. Ranade filed the latest RTI report on April 22 after he observed no reply or complete ignorance to his earlier filed 3 RTI reports. All the said reports sought AAP Delhi government's expenditure details on advertisements since year 2014 to 2021, amount spent per year on health, how many ICUs, beds and ventillators added post March 2020 in hospitals run by Govt of Delhi.

Advocate Ranade while in conversation with newsbharati.com said that theh Delhi government had said that the COVID-19 number in the state had reduced. "We all have seen the farmers protest and the 26 January Delhi chaos. All the farmers were without the masks and in huge numbers. While the state allowed the farmers to protest, did it take into consideration the pandemic that was about to come? I don't think so", he said.

Further he added that now the Delhi government has no right to point fingers at the Centre. "Arvind Kejriwal has totally failed in managing the pandemic and the state. This is the reason we want to see how the state has worked and spent how much amount on the advertisements and implementation as advertised", Advocate Himanshu Ranade noted who also has been a member of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad.

Yet today, CM Kejriwal has made a historical note and has descended to a new low by televising private conversations of PMs meeting with CM. His entire speech was not meant for any solution but for playing politics and evade responsibility. Commenting on the incident, sources in the central govt said that Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal used the PM-CM conference on Covid-19 as a platform to play politics. “He chose to spread lies on vaccine prices despite knowing that Centre does not keep one vaccine dose with itself and shares with states only”, the source said.
