These words like "soul shaker" are very small in front of this experience. We all know the truth of Kashmir. We know what happened in Kashmir on January 19, 1990. And whoever doesn't know will now know. But seeing all that truth in front of your eyes will shake you to the core. This is the story of Kashmir, the story of Kashmiri Pandits, about whom till today they have been deliberately kept silent, whose atrocities were deliberately kept silent, and whose story was deliberately kept away from the world.

The Kashmir Files

This is the story of Pushkarnath Pandit and lakhs of Kashmiri Pandits like him, who had to flee the valley in one night, leaving everything behind because Islamic Jihadis had given them only three options, Raliv, Tsaliv or Galiv i.e. convert, run away, or die. This film is an open book about the atrocities that happened with Kashmiri Pandits. This film is an eye-opener.

So you all know what is the story of the film, but the power with which the actors have brought it on screen is just commendable. You will hate Chinmay Mandlekar as terrorist Batta and Pallavi Joshi who plays Professor Radhika who brainwashed the students, both of whom have done a fantastic job as the villains. But if anyone can make your soul cry, it is Anupam Kher. He had said in one of his interviews, that he cried after shooting every scene of this film, why did he say this, today I understood. Pushkarnath Ji's entire family perished, but he kept fighting till the last breath demanding the removal of Article 370. He wrote 6000 letters to the government but there was no one to listen. His grandson Krishna is unaware of the truth about his family, how he is tricked when he enters the toxic environment of JNU, how his 'Pandit' surname is used, and how he also becomes a part of the Tukde Tukde gang. All this is a glimpse of the poison of JNU and its truth.

The form of media shown in this film also gives you a deep shock. Journalists used to keep silent to save their lives, because, of the pressure of the government, the pressure of the jihadis, and due to this pressure the truth got suffocated. Everything is so terrible, it makes you cry, and your soul trembles.

Do you know when it hurts the most while watching this movie, every moment you think, why all this was not taught in our textbooks? Why the pages of our history book were filled with the Mughalia Sultanate stories? The reality about Farooq Abdullah, Sheikh Abdullah was not reached to us? Why were we not told about the glorious history of Kashmir? How many people of our generation knew before this film came that Panchatantra was written in Kashmir? How many of us are there, who knows many Urdu words like Kalma, Shukrana, Najakat, Maqbool, Mahfouz while listening to Bollywood songs, but our mind wanders when we hear Sanskrit words or leave Sanskrit words, even the pure Hindi words? When I see such people around me, I feel ashamed, and also feel sad, how our generation and the coming generation are getting carried away and getting far away from our culture and our history in the pursuit of teaching in a good school, in a high convent. They are being deprived, being thrown away.

The ending of this film is its gist. In the end, listen to what Krishna says, not once but thousands of times, understand, and think why till today we do not know about this disgusting incident that happened in Kashmir? How children of our age who do not know anything, who are ignorant, are being brainwashed.

This film is not a film, it is a tight slap, which shows you the truth. Every person standing in support of Kanhaiya Kumar at that time should watch this film. Every person who blabbered about secularism should see this film. The one who does not feel safe in India should know what Kashmiri Pandits have suffered, yet even today they are longing to go back to Kashmir.

There is no Rahim Chacha in this film, who comes out as the messiah. In this film, things are not shown to make anyone's community feel good. The filmmaker did not think who will like this and who will not, This movie is a truth, which hits your head, goes to the brain, reaches the heart, and comes out of the eyes as tears.
Even now, if you think that what you know is true, then you are living a gross falsehood, my friend. This movie is a must-watch, watch with family, friends and encourage everyone to watch this, show this to as many people as possible, buy tickets for your staff working at your home or office. Spread this movie as much as you can. After all, the truth is coming out after 32 years.

Now, whenever you will hear, 'We want freedom' your blood will boil. Well said in the movie, it was a Genocide, and the Islamic jihadists were behind it. We are blessed that Modi Ji was elected and Article 370 was removed from Kashmir, otherwise January 19 would have been repeated every few days, and we would not have been able to do anything.

Must watch the film, and let the truth reach far away. The matter has come out now, it has a long way to go.
