New Delhi, Mar 16: In a great initiative, Indian Youtuber, and former Pilot of Air Asia airlines Gaurav Taneja has organized a free show of Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files in Delhi for those who are willing to watch a movie but cannot afford tickets of the movie.
Taneja gave the information about the initiative via social media handle. He has also given the details about the show. As per the announcement, he has organized the show at INOX Janakpuri, Delhi on 17th March at 1 PM.
Taneja has himself watched the movie this week. After watching the movie, he took to social media and said "Every year I go to Kashmir for tourism. After watching #TheKashmirFiles, I don’t think I can anymore. Will be an injustice to our brothers, that land now seems cursed !!!"
He is one of India's most prominent YouTubers, he is also popular for being a fitness fanatic, commercial pilot and aspiring lawyer. His YouTube channel 'Flying Beast' has close to 7.5 million subscribers while his other YouTube channel Rasbhari Ke Papa has 1.2 million subscribers.
The Kashmir Files is directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri and stars Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi, Mithun Chakraborty, Darshan Kumaar, and others. It is based on the mass killings and exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the valley in the 1990s.
It should be noted that the Kashmir files have fetched a massive positive critical acclaim and a humongous response. With huge critical acclaim, hard-hitting narrative, and stupendous performances, ‘The Kashmir Files’ is performing spectacularly well at the box office. The box office collection of director Vivek Agnihotri's 'The Kashmir Files' has surpassed Rs 60 crore in just five days of its release.
Zee Studios, which produced the movie, informed that the worldwide box office collection of 'The Kashmir Files' has crossed Rs 67 crore, with a total collection of Rs 67.35 crore.
