Yasin Malik Verdict: Ajmer Dargah lauds court's decision of 'life imprisonment of a terrorist'

New Delhi, May 26: Sajjadanashin, the Head of Ajmer Dargah recently issued a statement where he lauded the NIA court's decision in the case of Yasin Malik. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) court on Wednesday (May 25), sentenced life imprisonment to Yasin Malik in a terror funding case.

The Head of Ajmer Dargah; Sajjadanashin of Ajmer recently made a bold statement against terrorist Yasin Malik for being punished for his crimes. Sajjadanashin of Ajmer said terrorist Yasin Malik snatched books from Kashmiris and forced guns in their hands to become terrorists. He lauded the decision as a great beginning and further said that Pakistan has been exposed.

In a public notice issued by the Ajmer Dargah, it is said, "Yasin Malik is being punished for his crimes after going through complete judicial process", and it further lauded the Indian judicial system for the righteous decision. The notice further reads, "The real face of Pakistan is being exposed in front of the world, how Pakistan does terrorist funding in India through people like Yasin Malik, by provoking terrorism in India and carrying out terrorist incidents in Kashmir.."

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) court on Wednesday (May 25) sentenced life imprisonment to Yasin Malik, a separatist leader from Jammu and Kashmir, in a terror funding case. While doing so, the NIA court also imposed a fine of Rs. 10 lakh on the terrorist. He was sentenced to life imprisonment twice; one for waging war against the nation and one in UAPA sec 17 raising fund for terror act.
