New Delhi, July 1: The remarks by Supreme Court of slamming former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma had received a major backlash on the social media platforms. The Supreme Court had blamed her for the brutal Udaipur murder and stated that her ‘loose tongue’ has set the entire country on fire and she should apologize to the whole country.

Nupur Sharma had moved the SC seeking the transfer of all the FIRs registered against her, across several states to Delhi for further investigation. Sharma, in her application, stated that she is facing constant death threats.

However, in the latest development, it is being reported that none of the comments by the Supreme Court against the ex-BJP spokesperson has made it to the formal written order. The bench of Justices Surya Kant and JB Pardiwala refused to admit the plea and allowed the counsel of Nupur Sharma to withdraw the petition.

The final order of the top court simply says that "Learned senior counsel for the petitioner seeks and is permitted to withdraw the present writ petition with lberty to avail the alternate remedies available under the law". Further, it added, "The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn". Hence, it does not contain any remarks made by the judges during the hearing.

It is notable that as the petition was not admitted in the court, no order was issued by the bench. Instead, the order informing that the petitioner has been allowed to withdraw the petition has been issued by the court master.

Earlier, in the day, SC said, "She has threatened the security of the nation. She should apologise to the whole country. Supreme Court says she and her loose tongue has set the entire country on fire. Her outburst is responsible for the unfortunate incident at Udaipur, where a tailor was murdered."
