New Delhi, Aug 2: In Parliament, Trinamool Congress leader Mahua Moitra on Monday could be seen hiding her Louis Vuitton bag worth Rs 1.6 lakh during the price rise and inflation debate.
In the 10-second video, when the camera turned toward Dr Kakoli Ghost Dastidar, another Member of Parliament from the Trinamool Congress stood up to speak on the price rise. However, next to her was Mahua Moitra who took her Louis Vuitton bag placed adjacent to her on the seat and put it down where it was not visible to the Lok Sabha camera.
The video went viral on social media wherein netizens schooled her and asked her how one of the representatives of the Trinamool Congress party, which has been targeting the Centre over inflation, was carrying an ultra-expensive handbag to the Parliament. Noatbly, Moitra’s branded handbag is worth around Rs 1.6 Lakh.
