Gandhinagar, Oct 25: Predicting the humongous victory of BJP in the forthcoming Gujarat assembly election, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that the ruling party will sweep the polls with more than 150 seats.
Speaking to the media just after the much awaited official declaration of Gujarat elections, Rupani reiterated that BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Party Chief Amit Shah will fight elections on the issue of development.
Expressing happiness over the recently conducted survey the Chief Minister mentioned that party will get a three-fourths majority in the prestigious battle of Gujarat. He also urged all the stakeholders to participate actively & help strengthen the democracy.
Gujarat will go to polls on December 9 and 14 and counting will take place on December 18. For 182 assembly segments, 89 Assembly constituencies will vote in phase 1, while 93 will vote in the second leg.
