Nagpur, November 6: In the 82nd Senior National Badminton Championship held at Nagpur, Olympic medallists PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal progressed into the women's singles semi-finals on Monday. In men's singles world number two Kidambi Srikanth secured a comfortable win.
In the quarterfinals, London Games bronze medallist Saina defeated Aakarshi Kashyap 21-17, 21-10 while the Rio Olympics silver medallist Sindhu beat Shriyanshi Pardeshi by 21-11, 21-17.
Indian shuttler Srikanth had a comfortable win over Shubham Prajapati by 21-17, 23-21. In the Mixed doubles quarter-finals, Satwik Sai Raj R and Ashwini Ponnappa have beat Shivam Sharma and Poorvisha S Ram 21-14, 21-12.
