Hyderabad, Nov 7: In order to strengthen the Agriculture sector Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao announced that his government will ensure uninterrupted power for farmers in distress. Addressing the Telangana Assembly session, Rao mentioned that from next Rabi season this scheme will be implemented across the state.

Informing about the ongoing development, Rao stated that all Power corporations are ready to supply 11000 MW for achieving the goal of unhindered power for Agri sector. The Chief Minister reiterated that TRS government will take all possible major for providing adequate, qualitative and uninterrupted power to all sectors.

Elaborating on the policy decision, KCR stated that state administration has geared up for the historic move where the pilot projects are being carried out for Nalgonda, Medak, and Karimnagar districts. He further added that the total distribution lines before new state formation were about 432968 KM & state government added 51033 KM to it. He slammed Congress government for destroying the power sector resulting into huge power shortage crisis.
