‘Global Energy Parliament’ concludes on a note of ‘Switching to Clean Energy’ across globe

Thiruvananthapuram, December 11: ‘Global Energy Parliament’ (GEP) concluded on Sunday with aims to utilize science for human welfare. 8th session of GEP was organised at the old legislative assembly which discussed that duty of science shall be redefined so as to cater to joy and freedom of the universe. 

Leader Ramesh Chennithala inaugurated the concluding ceremony of Global Energy Parliament. Students, thinkers, scientists, research scholars from various countries took part in the event. The eighth session had kicked off following the parliamentary style in question and answer mode.

Student parliament was also organised as part of the event. The event was organised by Isa Viswa Prajnana Trust. The Global Energy Parliament was a unique venture for humanity to create a more sustainable, peaceful and happy future all based on the science of energy.

Experts in all fields participated as Members of Parliament or Ministers responsible for portfolios in their field of study/work. Resolutions passed in the parliament are submitted to Governments around the world and international organizations like the United Nations.

GEP is an international body which aims to ensure a self-sustaining, peaceful existence for human beings and the universe, by providing recommendations and strategies, backed by scientific research. The co-organizer of GEP 2017 is the Kerala Legislative Assembly’s Centre for Parliamentary Studies and Training.
