A delightful watch! Jewel of Kashmir ‘Dal Lake’ frozen beauty

Srinagar, January 5: What a delightful sight to watch! “Srinagar’s Jewel”, the Dal Lake considered as the heart and soul of Srinagar. Parts of world famous Dal Lake, particularly near banks and interior, are frozen as the cold wave conditions further intensified in the Kashmir Valley, where dry and chilly weather is likely to continue.

 

Parts of the Dal Lake, particularly near banks and in the interior, are frozen in the morning due to below freezing temperature, coupled with icy cold winds.

However, the frozen parts had started melting as the progressed when sun came out though the intensity of heat was low. Srinagar is the best thing stated about Jammu and Kashmir.
