The world's tallest statue will get a world class station at Kevadiya near the site of the Statue of Unity in Gujarat's Narmada district, a Railway Ministry official said in Mumbai
The Statue of Unity is a colossal statue of Indian statesman and independence activist Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (1875–1950) and located in the state of Gujarat.
It is the world's tallest statue with a height of 182 metres (597 ft). It is located on a river island facing the Sardar Sarovar Dam on the river Narmada in Kevadiya colony, 100 kilometres (62 mi) southeast of the city of Vadodara.
Kevadiya is a census town in Narmada district in Gujarat. This town is within the vicinity of Statue of Unity and ‘Valley of Flowers’ and a Tent City with 250 tents have been developed in Kevadiya.
