New Delhi, Dec 8: Officials of Enforcement Directorate searches three properties owned by aids linked to Robert Vadra in Delhi NCR and in the Bengaluru in connection with the alleged commission in defense deals.

This action was taken against him and his aids as ED received fresh evidence for the action. Congress alleges that it’s a classic case of continuing political vendetta of political opponents and the political family.

ED officials clarified that no raids had been conducted on Vadra. "The searches were linked to two employees of Vadra over money-laundering allegations. They are alleged to have acquired assets abroad, allegedly bought using commissions from certain defense deals," they said.

His lawyer alleged that the officials did not show any search warrant and accused the government of unleashing its agencies to harm the reputation of his client. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) carried out searches at the premises of three people linked to firms of Robert Vadra, son-in-law of Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, in connection with alleged commissions received by some suspects in defense deals, officials said
