Mysuru, February 19: Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated 140 km Bengaluru-Mysuru rail track and flagged off the Humsafar Express train from Mysuru to Udaipur in Rajasthan. Inaugurating newly constructed Electric Railway line between Mysuru and KSR Bengaluru will greatly benefit the people of Bengaluru, Ramanagara, Mandya and Mysuru.

Further PM Modi addressed a public rally at Maharaja College Ground, Mysuru, and Karnataka. Addressing the rally PM Modi said “creating a railway system which is modern and technologically advanced is vital. We are strengthening the railway networks across the country. Karnataka too is benefiting from it.”

Over the years, several schemes were discussed and debated in Parliament but never implemented on ground. When we came to power, we identified them and initiated work on such projects, PM Modi said.

Taking a dig at Congress government, PM Modi said that as long as there is Congress government in Karnataka, the state cannot progress. Karnataka aspires for speedy development which the Congress government can never fulfill. What they care for is only power, not aspirations of people! For over fifty years, it was only one party that ruled the country. What is the reason that about 4 crore homes still lack power supply? Why have they not ensured their well-being for all these years?

Karnataka does not require 'Commission' government but a 'Mission' government led by the BJP which will ensure all-round progress of the state. Congress has ruined the state and people will teach them a lesson in these elections, PM Modi added. The welfare of people has never been a priority for Congress government in Karnataka, he said.

In order to empower the youth of the country, we have sanctioned 10 Crores loan under the Prime Minister's Money Scheme and have given a loan of more than Rs 4 lakh Crores, said PM Modi. Our goal is 2022, when 75 years of independence, there is not a single family in India who does not own a home to live in.

Further PM Modi informed that we have removed the interview processes for Class III and IV jobs. This eliminated corruption and enhanced 'Ease of Living'.
