Chennai, April 2: Reacting to the ongoing protest of Dravidian parties over the Cauvery issue, Tamil Nadu State BJP Chief Tamilisai Soundararajan stated that opposition parties like DMK are deliberately fuelling the inter-state water sharing dispute. Speaking on the sidelines of party organization meeting, Soundararajan said that DMK’s M. K. Stalin should be held responsible for any serious law and order situation.

Commenting on the all-party meeting convened by Stalin, the BJP state-in charge accused DMK of launching unannounced protests in the name of all part meeting. Expressing concern over the massive protest activities in the neighboring state of Karnataka, Soundararajan mentioned that political parties should focus on the long-term solution instead of creating rucks on the street.
