Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani dedicates digital platform for 108 emergency ambulance

Ahmedabad, May 23: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today launched the mobile application for state government’s 108 emergency ambulance service. With this GPS- based digital platform, the user will be able to trace the real-time position of the ambulance. On this occasion, Gujarat Dy- Chief Minister Nitin Patel, Health Minister Kishor Kanani and other state officials were present.

The application will provide all the information regarding government and private hospitals across the state. This 108 mobile app will save the time taken for the ambulance to reach the place of the accident. The Chief Minister also dedicated the specially designed boat ambulance for citizens in the coastal region. 125 new 108 ambulance vans have been included in the existing ecosystem of 108 services.
