Delhi High Court to hear 'Sacred Games' plea on July 16

New Delhi, July 12: Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Netflix series 'Sacred Games' has mired into the controversy over the charges of untrue facts.

A plea in Delhi High Court was filed against the makers of Sacred Games over the charges of the wrong depiction of Rajiv Gandhi. The legal body will address the matter on July 16.

The petition demanded that certain scenes and dialogues referring to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and his family should be removed. It further claimed that by showing late Rajiv Gandhi in a bad light, makers have maligned the image of Gandhi family.

The petitioner has appealed HC to summon Netflix Entertainment and Phantom Films Production, makers of web series over objectionable and offensive content.

The first season of 'Sacred Games' was released on July 6.
