Each state in one voice: We condemn #PulwamaAttack; sacrifice won’t go in vain

New Delhi, February 15: The dreadful attack of Pulwama as left the whole nation shocked. The entire world is condemning the attack. Even the states are condemning #PulwamaAttack which took lives of over 40 CRPF soldiers on Thursday.

 

Karnataka

Karnataka Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy has condoled the demise the CRPF soldiers martyred in the Pulwama terror attack. Kumaraswamy and opposition leader in the legislative assembly and former chief minister B.S. Yeddyurappa expressed deep condolence to the bereaved family members of the CRPF soldier H. Guru, a native of Mandya district in Karnataka who was martyred in the attack.

Punjab

In Punjab, the state legislative assembly today strongly condemned the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama.

The members of the House observed two-minutes silence in the memory of the martyrs. The house was later adjourned for the day.

Addressing the assembly, Chief Minister Amarinder Singh urged the centre to give a befitting reply to the 'dastardly act' of Pakistan.

Uttar Pradesh

In Uttar Pradesh, the State Legislative assembly today paid homage to martyrs who lost their lives in yesterday's terror attack in Pulwama. The house also observed two minutes of silence. Later, it was adjourned till Monday.

Among the martyrs, twelve are from Uttar Pradesh. The districts to which these martyrs belong are Chandauli, Maharajganj, Shamli, Devaria, Mainpuri, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Agra, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat and Unnao.

People in Uttar Pradesh are saddened at cowardice incident and paying their homage to martyrs. Condolences meetings are bring observed across the state.

The state government has declared financial assistance of rupees 25 lakh to the family members of each martyr. One member of each family will be given government service.

The connecting road to martyr's native village will be named after his name. Ministers and public representatives and district officials will participate in the funeral of martyrs.

Goa

CM Manohar Parrikar on Pulwama Attack said, "The attack on CRPF jawans at Pulwama is an act of extreme cowardice & disregard for human life. India’s resolve for peace mustn’t be counted for weakness & passivity. India stands with CRPF, its martyred jawans & their families."

Telangana

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao today condemned the attack on CRPF Jawans in Kashmir. In a statement, he stated that he is extremely moved on the grave loss of lives in the ghastly incident.

He conveyed deep condolences to the bereaved family members of the martyred and expressed wishes for speedy recovery of the injured.

Bihar

In Bihar, the state legislative assembly today paid rich tribute to CRPF jawans who were martyred in Jammu & Kashmir terror attack. After expressing grief and solidarity with family members of the martyrs, the house was adjourned till 2.00 PM.

Jharkhand

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das has condemned the Pulwama terrorist attack, calling it cowardly.

Das said, Pakistan has funded terrorist outfits for the last 50 years and is involved in a veiled war against India.

The Chief Minister also announced a job and a sum of 10 lakh rupees for the kin of martyr Bijay Soreng of Gumla district in Jharkhand.

Maharashtra

CM Devendra Fadnavis said, “Pulwama attack is an absolute cowardly and condemnable act. Deeply pained. Entire Nation stands with the #CRPF family. We salute the supreme sacrifice for the Nation and pray for the speedy recovery of the injured ones!”

Gujarat

CM Vijay Rupani said, “In relation to the suicide attack in Pulwama, tomorrow, all the programs of Surendranagar and Modasa have been canceled on the date of 15/2/2019. I am paying tribute to all the martyrs of the country, who guarded the country.”

Uttarakhand

All the members of the Uttarakhand Assembly have strongly condemned the Pulwama terror attack and demanded a strict action on terrorists from the central government. The members were united and resolved to accompany the families of the martyrs.

CM Rawat said, “With the Pulwama attack, our government has postponed the budget that was introduced today till February 18, and the cabinet meeting has also been adjourned this evening. All the MLAs have announced their one-month salary and one day salary by the Uttarakhand IAS Association to help the kin of the martyrs.”

Tamil Nadu  
Chief Minister Yeddyurappa K. Panalanasamy has ordered the immediate grant of Rs 20 lakh to the families of the central security forces of Tamil Nadu in the attack on the terrorists in Pulwama.
