United we stand! Herd of more than 100 elephants steal the hearts of villagers in Odisha fields

Mayurbhanj, October 7: While Odisha has been strucked by fierce nature’s lightning storms and many other forms; the fields of Mayurbhanj district of Odisha witnessed the beautiful parade of elephants who marched through the fields not less than 100. Swaying in their own way, with their little ones, with their families, friends- these elephants had no fear roaming in the fields. 

Here is the beautiful view of at least 100 elephants that were spotted entering Rasgovind Pur in Odisha. The herd was coming from West Bengal and headed towards the Nilagiri forest on Friday. The herd was more than 100 in numbers and together they crossed through the fields in Mayurbhanj district to reach the Nilagiri forest. Villagers were seen enjoying the moment of elephants by capturing with their mobile phones.

 

Though there was minimal loss to the crops of the Mayurbhanj fields, but this bonding herd of elephants stole the hearts of the villagers and many.
