Dehradun, November 3: On the occasion of completing 17 years of Uttarakhand, the state Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat is organizing a hill mail initiative ‘Raibaar’ to invite eminent Sons of the soil of the state. CM held a meeting with officers in connection with the 'Raibaar' program in the Secretariat on Wednesday.
Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat will inaugurate the program on January 05, in the public meeting hall at Chief Minister's residence at 10 am on 05th November. The program will be held in four sessions until 08 pm. For rapid development of the state suggestions from the reputed people will be taken on issues that can be brought on the main problems.
Important topics like tourism, environment, migration, unemployment, investment, infrastructure, industry and New Uttarakhand will be discussed in the event. The Raibaar program will also discuss the current situation of Uttarakhand and the all-round development of Uttarakhand during the state's establishment.
In series of tweets, CM Rawat said that Raibaar 2017 is an effort to kick-start the process of creating a Naya Uttarakhand, 5th November is when we will meet and envision a new future. He further added that I request each one of you to please share your views and suggestions for Naya Uttarakhand of your dreams- kindly use hashtag #Raibaar2017.
On 9th November 2000, Uttarakhand became the 27th state of the Republic of India, being created from the Himalayan and adjoining northwestern districts of Uttar Pradesh. It shares the border with Tibet in the north; the Mahakali Zone of the Far-Western Region, Nepal to the east; and the Indian states of Uttar Pradesh to the south and Himachal Pradesh to the west and north-west as well as Haryana on its south-western corner.
