Kamal Haasan reveals action plan, says will quite cinema for people

Chennai, Sept 26: For the first time Super Star Kamal Haasan who is gearing up for his new political debut opined that for the welfare of the society he might join hands with other political parties be it BJP, keeping political leanings aside. The ace actor, who is known for his candid opinions about the contemporary political milieu, went on saying that he would quite cinema if he takes the final call on joining politics. In an interview with Times of India, the legendary actor opened up and spoke on a range of issues.

The 62-year actor recently was in the news for engaging dialogues with Kerala Chief Minister P Vijayan and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Calling himself a rationalist Haasan mentioned that he gets inspiration from different ideologies but some communist and socialist ideologues are close to his heart.

Annoyed with the present practices which involve corruption, Kamal Hassan believed that Corruption was not confined to one person; it starts with that man who takes Rs 5,000 for his vote. Pitching his ideas for corruption-free society the Tamil star asserted that better understanding and conscious awareness will tone down the culture of corruption.

When asked about his stand on parties like Congress and DMK, Kamal Hassan stated that he is against all types of corruption and his uncompromising consensus won’t allow him to team up with corrupt people.
