Speaking to the media, Parvathi claimed that the 60-foot bronze statue of Telugu Desam founder is nothing but an attempt to trigger the emotions of Telugu people who have immense love and respect for NTR. Taking a dig at Naidu’s dream project ‘Amaravati’, the YSR leader went on claiming that the so-called development of Amaravati is media-sponsored publicity.
The second wife of late NTR even accused Naidu of making hurdles into the political entry of JR NTR, popular Telugu actor and the grand-son of NTR. She alleged that the Chief Minister in a bid to safeguard the political position of his son and IT Minister Nara Lokesh has deliberately kept Jr NTR aka Tarak from active politics.
Commenting on Naidu’s new friendship with Congress, Parvathi said that TDP under Chandra Babu Naidu has not only lost credulity but also derailed from the principles and ethics of the legendary actor.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu recently unveiled the proposed design of NTR Memorial which is to be built in the capital region. The Chief Minister took to Twitter and said that NTR Memorial will be a great tribute to the legendary actor and former Chief Minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, fondly known as NTR.
