Mangaluru, April 27: Karnataka holds the significant position for upcoming Assembly Elections as Bhartiya Janata Party and Congress are no stone unturned to the throne Karnataka. Today, the President of Congress party, Rahul Gandhi released manifesto terming it as ‘voice of people of Karnataka.’ Congress released the manifesto at the TMA Pai Convention Hall in Mangaluru.
While releasing the manifesto, Rahul Gandhi thanked people of Karnataka. He said “In the last three months, I have travelled to every district of the state and it has been an enlightening experience. I thank you with all the humility. Every other state looks up to Karnataka for direction. I would like to thank the people of the Karnataka that in this difficult time, your dignity has helped the country."
The manifesto promises to stand as ‘Mann Ki Baat of Karnataka People’, Rahul Gandhi said. Manifesto covers several significant topics like agriculture, infrastructure, governance, and judiciary, tourism etc. "The manifesto has listed more than 30 areas where it's #NammaKarnatakaFirst,” he added further.
Congress manifesto released by Rahul Gandhi promises to create one crore jobs in five years, if voted to power in Karnataka. We have gone to the people of Karnataka and listened to what they want. Our manifesto is 'Mann ki Baat' of people of Karnataka, Rahul Gandhi said.
Like we delivered almost 95% of the promises we made in our previous manifesto, even these promises will be delivered, Rahul Gandhi recalled. I'm not here to tell the people of Karnataka what is good for them. I'm here to listen to what they think is good for them, Rahul Gandhi added.
We are very proud of Karnataka. The state is home to India's Silicon Valley. I would like to thank Karnataka because its confidence has shown this country a path forward, Rahul Gandhi added.
"The manifesto has listed more than 30 areas where it's #NammaKarnatakaFirst. Karnataka is the top job creating state in India & we have received the maximum investments. We will continue in our efforts to build a 'Nava Karnataka,” Rahul Gandhi added.
"CM @siddaramaiah led Karnataka Government has delivered as Promised. We again give a commitment of fulfilling the promises we have made in this manifesto as well," Rahul Gandhi added.
