Washington, Jan 4: On the 13th day of Shutdown in the USA, Democrats have vowed to pass bills which would end a government shutdown as they took control of US House of Representative on Thursday.
Democrats passed the second bill of two bills which not include funding for President Trump’s Mexican border wall, the actual cause of the partial shutdown. This partial shutdown affecting 8,00,000 workers in the USA.
The Republicans still control Senate and said, they will not support the passing of bill without Mr. Trump’s approval. The shutdown occurred due to dispute on funding of Southern Mexican border wall.

The new House Majority Leader, Nancy Pelosi said, “The Democrats would quickly pass budget legislation providing sufficient funds to end this shutdown”. Further, she added, “Nothing for Wall”, there is no amount of persuasion he can do to say to us, we want you to do something that is not effective, that costs billions of dollars.
She also stated that we believed a sitting president could be indicated- although Justice Department guidelines disagree. “We are asking the president to open up government, we have given the Republicans chance to take yes for an answer.”
President Donald Trump held meeting with congressional leaders in the situation room of the White House on Thursday. He wanted to shape this discussion more in the framework of national security rather than the budgetary issue.
The Democratic bill would temporarily fund the homeland security until 8 February, but another amount would fund other departments which are closed due to partial shutdown until 30 September.
