Speaking to media Narasimha Rao who himself hails from Telugu state underlined that the central leadership of BJP has prepared an action plan focusing all states down south. Hailing the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP leader hoped that the southern states would defiantly back BJP for various economic reforms and welfare measures initiated by Central government under Prime Minister Modi.
When asked about the strength of BJP in two Telugu States, GVL said that the Saffron party has a considerable base in Telangana and AP where BJP is the junior partner with incumbent Telugu Desam Party. Denying reports of an alleged alliance between Telangana Rastra Samithi and BJP, the party spokesperson stated that on the front of forging an alliance with any party apex leadership will take the final call.
Responding to the current controversy of Vijay-starrer Tamil film 'Mersal' he opined that constructive criticism would be accepted, but not the untrue and factually incorrect allegations. Commenting on the performance of BJP in Tamil Nadu Narasimha Rao underlined that BJP has the strength to fill the political vacuum in the forthcoming general election.
On the front of Karnataka Narasimha Rao asserted that BJP would be able to regain its lost turf as people of Karnataka will dethrone the incumbent Congress government under CM Siddaramaiah due to its corrupt practices. Expressing deep concern over the law and order situation in the state of Kerala, Rao slammed LDF government for instigating violence against RSS and BJP workers.
