Bengaluru, March 28: Refuting all the speculative media reports, Janata Dal (Secular) Chief H D Deve Gowda cleared that his party is not going to team up with Congress. Speaking to the media, the former Prime Minister stated that JD(S) has already joined hands with Mayawati’s Bahujan Samaj Party.
According to media reports, the regional outfit is also reaching out to Samajwadi Party for the upcoming Karnataka Polls. When asked about the poll-preparedness of JD(S), Gowda expressed that his cadres are ready for the big battle. Several reports about JD(S) Congress tie-up were surfaced after the alleged meeting between Deve Gowda and Congress backed outfit Samvidhana Rakshanegagi Karnataka. The southern state will go to polls on May 12 and counting will be on May 15.
